Hey there, my name is Gregg Schmidt and in 2020 I started Method, LLC… that’s right, 2020. I guess you could call Method a covid business - not quite as cute and cuddly as a covid puppy but, while dogs are awesome, their production skills are suspect.
A bit about me: I’m a seasoned content producer/director with over 25 years of agency and freelance experience in video production, including broadcast, digital and social media. My wide range of experience in all aspects of the production process is one of my biggest assets. You name it, I’ve likely done it, from field and post-production to agency creative direction. This means I understand all roles and perspectives (client and production) and can wrangle the chaos to create beautiful content for you.

PHOTO DIRECTION/CURATION
Pics or it didn’t happen.
While this may be true, 1000’s of pics without direction is worse than your Aunt showing you all of her photos from her latest cruise.
I’ll provide the photo direction for your project, from shaping the creative to creating clear shot lists. To wrap it up with a beautiful bow, I’ll deliver a curated library of photos you’ll actually be able to use!
You brought in all the heavy hitters for your conference, now let’s make sure the content lives on.
For added value for your attendees or an asset you can monetize for key partners, I can produce multi-camera edits of your keynotes, panels, etc… whether you have an AV team in place or we’re starting from scratch.

Production consultant & Auditor
Production can be scary, but it doesn’t have to be. I can be your in-house “video guy” to help you navigate all of the logistics of production with your chosen partner. I’ll make sure you’re getting proper value and your voice is being heard, but I’ll also keep it honest. I know what’s a small ask vs a big lift and can act as a liaison between you and the production team to keep everything running smoothly.
The compliment I’m most proud of in my career, came during a particularly challenging production moment when my client looked at me and said “How can you stay so funny, when things are so chaotic?” I knew then that’s the goal, production is fun and I can help make it fun for you as well. Promise.
